Delta e-Connections – diedrichHARMON

At diedrichHARMON, my primary bi-monthly project is the Delta e-Connections newsletter. Every week there are new articles to add and new copy to add. As weeks progress, occasional copy changes are made and edits to pictures are done. The images are pulled from an FTP or are emailed with the articles. Sometimes I have to go and grab a new image from the FTP if the supplied image is too low of resolution to see the details.

When building out one of these, I have to maintain folder structures to let me know which day I made edits, and I have to track when images are updated. With this, I have to make images that call out certain important notes about articles as well. This helps to make the pages more interesting.

As the final month closes in, the final deliverable is a page with links to several articles, with an introductory image in each, along with precise body copy and accurate dates. This newsletter is then sent electronically to all Delta employees to keep up-to-date with the latest happenings at Delta.
